Anyone with size 8 boots order the Karakorams? Just wondering if you went with the small or medium.
The sizing chart says size 6-8 boot should fit a small binding. However, if I ever want to upgrade my set up (down the road) it'll be much harder to sell with the small bindings.
Just wondering what those peeps with size 8-ish boots decided to go with and how well they fit.

Are there even differences in the binding sizes? I don't think so. With the Split30s you just change some bolts around to essentially lengthen the heel cup area. The straps even looked like they came in a single size (the small bindings had HUGE straps). The only thing I could tell they did at the factory to make a 'small' binding was to assemble the bolts in the 'small' positions. I converted the small binding (for wife's size 8 women's) to a large (me size 11 men's) in about 5 minutes.

Karakoram swaps the heal cups small, medium, or large, which all have dual adjustments.
I think that tiltedworld had size medium bindings for size 8 boots, but you could double check with him. I think he went with medium for the same reason - for resale value.
tiltedworld came thru, looks like I'll go with the Small.
What did he suggest, besides small?
Small or a Medium with a toe ramp for a size 8 Burton shell...The toe ramp sits behind the touring pins and on top, in effect making the binding a little smaller have a little more leverage. This is unlike say the Burton ramps that extend outward to increase length and provide leverage.

I've currently wear a size 11 burton sabbaths from a few years back. I can be an 11 or 11.5 depending on the boot manufacturer. I cant decide between a medium or large. I tend to ride large standard bindings but they have totally different size ranges. Any suggestions?

I guess making a big deal about getting the bindings asap doesn't matter much at this point! I am going to mount them to my Nordic track! My son saw them, as they were technically one of my xmas presents, and said I thought you were getting one blue and one green! Anyone want to swap? haha
