Just picked up a 168 Fissile Splitty! Super-stocked. Now I'm thinking about the bindings. I wear GMont GLites, and I'm hoping I don't need to spend $300 for sidewinders. Anyone ridden the Voile Mtn Plate? Anyone ridden both? Little feedback would be much appreciated.

I have ridden both the Voile and the Bomber Sidewinders.
[*]Voile[*] While I like the Voile for price I never really could get this binding to fit my 27 mondo Scarpa F1 boot. So this season I having my wife try the Voile bindings. Its her first season of splitboard and I am stoke to have got her a K2 Dynafit split setup to try. If she likes split-boarding it I upgrade the bindings.
I really like the Bomber Sidewinders bindings: hese bindings defiantly improved the ride! Improved lateral movement and significantly reduce the amount of chatter. But now I am looking for a lighter pair of bindings, as I am getting older!
I have ridden the Burton Carrier plate binding (similar to the Burton race plate) on my Burton fish. I really like this binding so I am sure that will like the Burton Race Plate. My only wish is that toe clip was metal instead of plastic
I have ridden a modified pair of SnoPro Race Bindings modded to the Voile slider tracks. This was an easy mod as the "SnowPro Race" is the same hole pattern for as Voile Slider plate. They allow for canting and toe and heel lift.
So if your coin is important to you try the Voile bindings (unless your boot size is 27 mondo) and start saving and looking for bargain pair of Race Plates or Snow Pro Race Binding. Save for a pair of Sidewinders or Phantoms. If your in Colorado, go see Finn at Bomber in Sliverthorne or contact Keffler http://splitboard.com/talk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=13929&hilit=Phantom
