here's a pic of the new burton landlord split and the spark magneto system:
Saw this on Instagram the other day as well. However, in next years catalog there is no Burton splitboard with a channel, let alone a Landlord Split. None of my shop people have heard or seen of this either and they have already done their dealer shows and placed orders for next year. I would love if this comes true, but i'm thinking it could be a foreshadow for 2015. BUT, if anybody else knows anything please be sure to share!
I'd have to get my catalog to give you the run down on the Landlord itself, but wither way the channels now open up limitless stance options! That too me is enough reason to make the switch over to this board.

Actual data would be an interesting addition to this thread. If you could post a decent pic of the page in the catalog that we could read and see the specs that would be great.

I'll get my hands on it as quick as possible, but specs will be for the solid version of the LandLord as the split is not in the catalog.

Maybe i'm just imagining things, but itsn't this a "Spark Magneto" too, but without the Burton channels and with normal inserts. Look closely at the (lack of) heellifts and the short pins at the front of the binder. So there is a version for normal Voile pattern as well.....
And the hooks? Are those Voile hooks, they look like they have a Spark logo on them. looks like all the hardware could be Spark on this one..

And what might this be??
21century version of the good ol' Burton 3 straps?
Just kidding. Looks like it's attached to the ankle strap : To increase sideways stability while skinning, maybe!?
I love how the Kloster bros have tackled (and apparently keep tackling) some major stuff:
No loose parts - check Clamping boardhalves together - check Heel Lockdown - check Sideways stability for skinning to bring us Softbooters closer to our Hardboot friends - in the making???
