Hey there,
Today was really fun for Rocktober up at Sacajawea. There are a few chutes in the bowl there filled in with wind packed snow. If you pick just the right line you might not hit a rock, and if you do it's not super gnarly. I had a few "pow turns" up there today. Take a 4WD or AWD (subarus will make it) up there, my friend's 4WD was out in his four runner and we had to park it and hike a way to get to the trail head. Take your rock board and ride with your head on straight, and get a taste of what's to come. It's supposed to be warmer this week so get after it!
Haven't been up yet in the fresh, but we got nearly 8 inches in town on Monday night. Temps are cold right now. Best check the latest avy forecast before heading out though... i've heard first hand that the apron is golden at the moment!

I know this doesn't apply to the bridgers but I had some great turns in beehive on sunday. The East aspects had great snow with good coverage. Other aspects seemed to have a crust under a couple inches of powder. All in all very good for early turns.
