Finally got my feet wet. Big Storms blew through the east side all Christmas but I was out of town. Got out of town friday Dec 28th. The snow had some time to stabilize a bit and I couldnt wait to make some turns. Picked up Mtnrider on 395 and we headed north
Swanny and Mtnrider on the way to the Sherwins We decided on a easy well ridden target for opening day
Ollie Josh and Mtnrider on the up
Swanny,Mtnrider and Josh on Top with a little blue bird
Snow had some tracks but there were some nice pockets of deep untracked powder if you looked around. Everyone was smiling after the decent and the snow ested stable. Time to map out sundays target
It started out cold and gloomy Dunderberg Peak Sunday Morning
Josh checks the snow stability
I had to check it out too
There was some funky layers
But we agreed they were just new snow and the green light was given
