Intro to Splitboarding presented by Chair 2 Board Sports and the Mt Baker Splitfest

Meet in the Demo Tent in the parking lot of Chair 9. Bring your splitboard gear and questions about anything relating to splitboarding!

Just wanted to put this up so everyone can see it an help spread the word. This is a TOTALLY FREE clinic for people who are interested in getting into splitboarding. We gear these to people who have never seen or barely heard of splitting to get a comprehensive discussion with splitters to learn everything there is to know about getting setup and going splitboarding. This is also great for people who are NEW to splitting, maybe you have you board and most of your gear, but you need help setting it up? This is the clinic for you!

This clinic will be mostly gear/skinning techniques and recommended equipment for backcountry travel. We will not be discussing avalanche safety or teaching anything about it, that is beyond the scope of this introductory clinic.
