tryst chutes were awesome for some reason the first/tightest chute had not been touched(or wind had blown in) rode it a few times absolutely love the area and cant wait to go back after a decent dump!!

Anybody out there patient enough to take a newbie out for a few turns?

I am seriously thinking of getting into split boarding, but would like to rent some gear and try it out before I get too committed. Would really appreciate it if anybody with experience would be willing to let me tag along on a trip they are doing? (maybe after this Feb hoar layer stops being such an issue)

About me:

- Have AST 1
- Snowboarding for well over 15 years, including back country (cat, heli)
- Plenty of other mountain type experience – scrambling, sport climbing, snowshoeing, a bit of mountaineering etc…
- Have remote rescue / First aid cert

Well looks like things out there have gone to shit (Kaninaskis). First time I have ever seen the BLACK "extreme" warning this year.

That it is my friend that it is, were thinking possibly tryst sunday depending on how far this avy cycle goes there are two of us so far if not sunshine in delirium/wild west
