The word of the day boys and girls is

UGLY!

Went for a snowshoe tour on the south side of Teton Pass this morning and it is ugly. Water ice, rain crust, sun crusts, temporal granular, graupel, etc....... Just plain SHIT!
At this point the best we can hope for is huge avalanches on ALL ASPECTS and a new beginning. When it starts :puke: the shit .

on the plus side...it was 55 degrees in boise today...and the trails were good up to 7000' and the boise ridge road. perfect day on the bike.

it'll be here (and especially there) before long....

Well I might just drive to Boise and go mountain biking. Maybe head north to farm country and do a little pheasant hunting in a t-shirt.

We got about 8" on the Pass and Targhee reported 13-14". Nice and fluffy. My wolfdog is doing the spider walk trying to disperse his weight. Not a good sign.
