Hey Gang,

Just refreshed the post with current info. And cancelled the poll.

I've been working on this product for a couple years and now feel I have it sorted enough to try put it on the market. It's removable traction with a rope and it works with stock voile hardware. The apparatus goes in the pack for the way up and is compact enough to fit in the shovel pocket of a pack. Bindings go in the pack for the way down for surf style binding free riding. The swap over is just as fast a sliding bindings on to the board. The same setup could also be used on a standard 4x4 board. I'm trying to get a feel for public interest to determine what kind of production level to shoot for. So any feedback would be appreciated. It works and it's a lot of fun. Ride the white wave.

I like this idea.

I've never tried noboarding, it looks/sounds like fun but seems really impractical unless conditions are perfect for it for the entire length of the ride.

I think the versatility of this idea makes it much more practical, since you can still make a quick transition to use regular bindings if you need to.

Sorta like the idea for certain tours, but the less crap in my pack the better.
That said, I wonder if Eric from Northern Utah might have the right idea when it comes to a binder setup for the skin track?

Point being that, having a set of Sparks, much less my Triads in my pack is extremely unappealing.
Hell next year I'm hoping to make my own pack along the lines of an ultra running vest, so I can minimize bulk I carry on tours.

Either way, I really enjoyed the video.

Yes, yes and... depends on price. I'm building my own no-split setup, but if you offer one that works well for a decent price (I'd say no more than $150) then I'd buy it. I pretty much only ride powder these days (I'm spoiled) and love noboarding.

Even if you don't go into production, mind PMing some details? I'd be interested to see what you've done, would probably buy a setup and as a mechanical engineer can always offer some advice.

Great vid. I am the guy that snurfer reffered to in his post. Anyway, in the right conditions noboarding is awesome. I tried out a few different setups this last year. The nosplit worked out great. I have a few modifications that I need to make but all in all it was great. There are a couple of ideas that I found worked out pretty well. PM me if you want to talk specifics.

Nearls sent me a set and I tried them out yesterday. They fit in my larger BC pack no problem (BD anarchist with avalung). Slid right on my board and super grippy on my boots. I'm super stoked on the versatility of this system, and it makes tons of sense to be used with the splitty. Great job Nearls, keep up the good work!

It was cool to see these on Will's board yesterday. Very light, really simple to install - - much like a regular split binder. Look forward to trying them out at Scrubfest.

My son Sky and I got a couple sets of the snowsurf kits for this coming season. I've been a little reluctant to jump on the noboard bandwagon but I think I'll be eating my words soon. Seems like it could be a fun time in certain conditions and the snowsurf kit works with splitboards which is......
