The dual-height risers seem cool. Too bad they conveniently won't work with Sparks. I'm sure that's not an accident.
As far as lifting the riser, it's super-simple with a whippet. It has a nice tab on the pick that works perfectly for grabbing the riser (whippet use #37).
What makes you think that they aren't compatible with Sparks? The design is identical to the single climbing bar so why would they suddenly not work? It's also almost exactly what I've got with the G3 heel pads I'm using with Sparks and I haven't found a single issue with function (they're ugly as hell but they work flawlessly).
Guess I need to check the forum more often...
I stand corrected since Dave says they work. What I ASS-umed would be the problem is that the second riser folds down behind the climbing block, as opposed to in front like the normal climbing wires, and I thought this would interfere with the back of the Spark binding. The Spark binding is solid across the entire bottom of the back of the baseplate, whereas the Voile one has a gap. But I forgot that the Sparks still hit the block on the climbing bar pad, so the bottom of the back of the of the baseplate doesn't go all the way to the board, so there should still be room for the second climbing bar.
Sorry for the confusion and false "accusation". I'm stoked to hear that it will work with Sparks.

Plus, it would be really silly for Voile to design and market something that purposely excluded a significant portion of the user group.
You might be surprised how often companies do just that... Glad to hear that is not the case here.

I hear ya Dimension, just giv'n you shit. Perhaps, if Voile didn't already hold the patent on the over arching technology this might be an issue.... Sparks are based around the Voile puck design, so if Voile also makes something based on their own pucks it's only an infringement if Voile gets all schizophrenic and attempts to litigate against itself.

Has anyone tried the Voile dual height risers with the Spark crampons? From the pictures it looks like they should go together just fine. Anyone have this setup?
