Can we come and car camp? The wife and I will be splitting while all winter out of our minivan and figured following the splitfests would be a fun tour. Hopefully end up meeting all you twisted individuals that keep my stoke way up! Also I'm down with costs, but I do like to know where my money is going, what the one hundo a head for?

That $ would be if you wanted to split housing with people. I think Keff is also planning a catered event of some sort. There will be a dirtbag option as well I'm sure (like just pay $ for the evening event). I was thinking about camping myself. Not sure yet on where its cool to park overnight, I'll try and find out though. I know of a couple spots but they aren't in town proper.
Jbay, march-april is usually the best time of year for touring in Colorado. Snowpack tends to be a bit safer. That said there is always the potential for it to suck (or danger to be high). Dust storms have become common over the last several years. There's also potential for huge dumps, just wont know until then. Silverton can benefit from both La Niña and El Niño. Earlier in the season can be deeper snow but limited safe terrain options.

Sorry we haven't been actively responding to this thread lately. Me and Keffler have finalized details, and have been waiting to put up the official detailed announcement until we get a couple things finished.
I can say prior to the official announcement, that costs are $160 for 3 nights lodging (renting houses in Silverton), 2 nights of catered food, beer, and entry into the raffles (getting some good stuff to give away, but can't give out details yet). People are welcome to come and car camp or handle lodging themselves. If you want to just do dinners and entry to all raffles, that will be $60. Those are the only two options we have thought of now, but I'm sure other people will want to do different things, and we are open to discussion. Any profits will be donated to CAIC.
We are going to have demos available from Venture and a couple other companies as well as slide shows, giveaways, as well as some pretty good terrain close by. It should be a fun time.
We are going to encourage people to be signed up and registered by March 1st. Details on how to register will be in the official announcement hopefully soon to come. Thanks for the stoke and patience.

Bumping this for anyone who is interested in attending Silverton Splitfest. We are trying to close registration this week, so if you want to be a part of this, let us know!
We have a ton of gear to raffle off to all entrants, including a Venture Splitboard, BCA Stash pack, 2 pairs of G3 skins, and more to come.
We also have beer from Ska and Ourayle House! Should be a great event to come out and meet new splitters and check out new areas!
