I'm out until Splitfest. Heading home for Christmas and back just in time for some sweet time in Rogers Pass. Merry Christmas everyone, see you in January.

If anyone wants to tour the Fernie area Dec 26-31, I'll be staying at a condo there, hide-a-bed couch for couch surfing

I'd be up to rent a sled 50/50 for some back country access as well, I know of an old cat skiing operation that doesnt run anymore (powder cowboy), lots of gladed tree's, cat tracks etc etc :headbang:

Hey guys,
I'm trying to get a group together to do an AST2 course....i need 5 more people including myself. The cost is $350 per person which is considerably cheaper than the others that are currently being offered. if anyone is interested drop me a PM.

Where would the course take place and who would be teaching it.

The course is offered through skiguides.ca and can be anywhere from calgary to revelstoke. Great video from black prince, the snow looked great! How wind affected was it up there? how high did you guys climb?

The ridge was hammered but tree line was great.

What dates are you thinking for the course?

just completed the AST1 course over the weekend out at Black Prince, few of us heading back out there this coming weekend for a mellow tour if anyone else is interested
