I did manage to get one epic shot of Hood on my way to Hood River, clouds rolled up the south side framing the mountain against the otherwise empty blue skies over green fields. Hrmm, perhaps we should setup a common place to put all the pictures we took? Another forum I know had a photobucket account that everyone on the forum could get the login and password for and upload pictures to put on the forums.

Does anyone have any methods with public photo sharing so everyone can dump their pics in one place? If one of y'all could set something up with a simple ftp site or something that'd be great.

Emailing pictures is a little kludgy though - anybody got a better way?

Edit: it'd probably be better to set up a dedicated google account for this rather than using mine. I'll set one up later unless somebody's got something better

Hi All -- Me and Chronic are going to rescue the ditched keg and sled on Thursday. Anyone else down to ride along and help out? Should just take an afternoon, and we'll get some awesome photos of people riding with a keg strapped to their backs.

Think I would have gotten it there (though dunno w/ that sidehill...), we just wouldn't have made it back in town in time to drop off the rental gear. Fortunately we hid it well

Instead of riding with it on your back may want to try actually riding the keg and using your shovel as an oar and keel to guide the way. Wasn't able to make that work w/ backpack, split, etc. but I think it's doable...

How far up the hill is it? Did you not make it to the sidehill? Then it's still really close to the cabin.

Nope, (fortunately) got talked out of it when my ice axe shattered my camp lantern only 150 yards or so from the cabin! Super failboat. Gernot has the GPS coordinates of where she's hidden

I'm free Thursday. I saw where it was stashed, so should be able to find it again.
